I got this for free dive training in a pool as a stand alone thermal layer that was neutrally buoyant. For that purpose it’s proven very satisfactory. It’s a good, close, comfortable fit and I don’t get a sense of much water movement. It provides just the right level of thermal protection. I like the back zip and covering pad (worked much more efficiently than the front zip version made by Hyperflex). The one quibble is the stirrups. They’re far too narrow and flimsy and they continually feel like they are about to slip off. Of course, that only happens if you’re trying to swim in it bare footed, so it won’t be a problem for most potential buyers. I would certainly recommend it.
